Everest “Family” Supports Race for Vocations

The Consecrated Women of Regnum Christi would like thank all the Everest students, teachers, parents and family members who participated in the first ever “Race for Vocations” held on Saturday, September 12, at Independence Oaks Park in Clarkston, Michigan. The consecrated women sponsored the event in honor of the Year of Consecrated Life declared by Pope Francis and to raise funds to support the Detroit Archdiocese Vocations Association. More than 100 runners took part in the 5K run. The winner was our very own Fr. Daniel Pajerski LC. Everest 3rd Grade teacher Sue Ohlinger, who won first place in her age group, said she participated in the event in gratitude for the work of the consecrated women and priests at the school. “They do so much for us. It’s nice to finally do something for them.”
